Welcome To

The Intensive English Program is located on the University of Miami Coral Gables

campus. Coral Gables is a Mediterranean styled suburb filled with acclaimed

restaurants, fine art galleries, live theater, breathtaking flora, and a bevy of landmarks

on the National Register of Historic Places.

Just a few blocks from campus, you will find South Miami and the Shops at Sunset

Place, which offer restaurants, an entertainment complex with a movie theater and

bowling alley, boutique shops and anchor stores, coffee houses, and supermarkets.

Nearby, the village of Coconut Grove is home to artists, writers and musicians. Graced

with bicycle paths, charming sidewalk cafes, and a lively nightlife, the “Grove” is

filled with UM students on weekends.

Miami’s beautiful subtropical climate makes it the perfect place to enjoy outdoor

activities year-round. You can spend time on South Beach, known for its idyllic

beaches, Art Deco architecture, sidewalk performers and contemporary vibe. Perhaps

you’ll explore sailing on Biscayne Bay, taking an airboat ride in Everglades National

Park, strolling down the galleries in Wynwood, watching the Miami Heat playing at

the American Airlines Arena or taking a quick cruise to the Caribbean.
